Reporting Violation

Deer Creek Water Association (system i.d. #18418E) located in Whatcom County is required to monitor your drinking water for specific contaminants on a regular basis. Results of regular monitoring are an indicator of whether or not your drinking water meets health standards.

We test for asbestos every 10 years. In 2010, our sample test results was 0.131 million fibers per liter—which is below the state reporting level of 0.200.

In 2019 we did not meet our monitoring requirement for asbestos, and therefore cannot be sure of the quality of your drinking water at that time.

In June 2020, our required sample was taken for asbestos and the result was 0.116 million fibers per liter—which is once again below the state reporting level of 0.200
